50 Different Plant Foods This Week Challenge

Most of us eat the same 25 foods over and over again. This week we are going to eat 50 different plant foods together. Don’t worry, I am not talking about 50 salads this week. Plant foods include vegetables (cooked or raw), fruits, herbs, spices, nuts, seeds, whole grains, beans, legumes, coffee, tea, and some healthy fats (including dark chocolate). We have thousands to choose from.

Colorful plant foods are associated with positive well-being, life satisfaction, and happiness; reduce inflammation, insulin response, and stress; support digestive, reproductive, and cardiovascular health; improve cognition, and reduce the risk of chronic disease. What’s not to love about plants!⁠

Now is a great time to spice up your meals, try new foods, and support your health and wellness.
